The Startup & Innovation Committee of FNCCI presents First Friday Talk, an action oriented learning program for entrepreneurs, hosted every First Friday of the month at the FNCCI's Auditorium Hall in Teku, Kathmandu.
For this edition, we are hosting Ms. Aanchal Kunwar who is the Managing Director at Daraz Nepal, country’s leading e-commerce platform. She is the first woman MD among all Daraz ventures.

Brief Profile of Ms. Aanchal Kunwar
Ms. Aanchal Kunwar, Managing Director, Daraz Nepal
Aanchal Kunwar was born in Nepal and spent the first 19 years of her life here. Throughout her childhood, she lived across Nepal including Panchthar Phidim, Katari, Chaurjahari, Biratnagar, and Kathmandu. She moved to the United States after completing her ISc. from St. Xavier’s Campus in 2003.
During her time in the US, she completed her Bachelor’s degree in Math and Economics as well as MBA. She worked in the corporate sector for almost 15 years, where she first worked for Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT) while doing her MBA, building the experience in consulting, program management, corporate strategy, and product management. Then she joined Amazon in 2016 and worked there for 5 years in various capacities including managing a business, building abuse prevention programs and products, and establishing Amazon retail in new markets like Sweden, Poland, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt.
She is now Managing Director at Daraz Nepal, country’s leading e-commerce platform. She is the first woman MD among all Daraz ventures.
