बजारमा माग बढाउन सरकारको सहयोग आवश्यकः मोरङ उद्योग व्यापार संघको ६७औँ वार्षिक साधारणसभामा ढकालले सो आग्रह गरेका हुन् (२०८०/१२/२२ )

नेपाल उद्योग वाणिज्य महासंघका अध्यक्ष चन्द्रप्रसाद ढकालले देशको अर्थतन्त्रको बाह्य क्षेत्र सन्तुलित भए पनि बजारमा माग कम भएकाले अर्थतन्त्र चल्न नसकेको बताए । उनले बजारको माग बढाउन सरकारले सहयोग गर्नु पर्ने बताए ।

बिहीबार मोरङ उद्योग व्यापार संघको ६७औँ वार्षिक साधारण सभालाई सम्बोधन गर्दै अध्यक्ष ढकालले सो कुरा बताएका हुन् ।

सरकारले लगानी सम्मेलनअघि संशोधन गर्ने भनेको कानुनलाई पनि संशोधन गर्नुपर्ने उनले औंल्याए । उनले समयमै संशोधन नभए यसले सम्भावित लगानीकर्तामा नकारात्मक सन्देश जाने बताए । ढकालले महासंघको सुझावमा १२ वटा ऐन नियम संशोधनको प्रस्ताव गरिएको जानकारी दिए । संशोधनपछि केही जटिल विषय सम्बोधन हुने उनले बताए ।

ढकालले व्यवसायीलाई दिइँदै आएको सहुलियतपूर्ण कर्जा सुविधा बन्द गरिएको उल्लेख गर्दै सहुलियतपूर्ण ऋण सुविधा पुनः सञ्चालन गर्न सरकारलाई आग्रह गरे । सुविधा ठप्प हुँदा उद्यमशीलतामा असर परेको उनले बताए ।

उनले आन्तरिक माग कम हुँदा निर्यात गरेर र बढी पर्यटक भित्र्याएर माग बढाउनुपर्ने तर निकासीमा दिइने अनुदान रोकिएको बताए । यस हिसाबले अहिले निर्यातमा प्रोत्साहन नहुने उनले बताए । उनले पूँजीगत खर्च बढाउन र ठेकेदारको बाँकी बक्यौता पनि तिर्न सरकारलाई आग्रह गरे । सरकारले व्यवसायीहरुको मनोबल बढाउनु पर्ने मा अध्यक्ष ढकालले जोड दिनुभयो।

यसैबीच अध्यक्ष ढकालले मोरङ उद्योग व्यापार संघले चेम्बर आन्दोलन र देशको आर्थिक विकासमा पु¥याएको योगदानका लागि बधाई दिनुभयो । उनले मोरङ उद्योग व्यापार संघले यस क्षेत्रमा उद्यमशीलता प्रवद्र्धन, साना तथा मझौला उद्योगलाई टेवा पु¥याउन र व्यवसायको प्रतिस्पर्धात्मक क्षमता अभिवृद्धि गर्न निर्णायक भूमिका खेलेको उल्लेख गरे ।

सो अवसरमा मोरङ उद्योग व्यापार संघका अध्यक्ष नवीन रिजालले कर्जाको ब्याजदर घटाउन सहयोग पुर्याएकोमा ढकाल र महासंघलाई धन्यवाद दिए । तर, बजारको माग कम भएकाले व्यवसायीले केही समस्या भोग्नु परेको जानकारी गराए । बजारमा छिट्टै सुधार आउने र अर्थतन्त्रले गति लिने उनको भनाइ थियो ।

मोरङ उद्योग व्यापार संघलाई पहिले मोरङ व्यfपार संघ भनिन्थ्यो । संस्थाको नाममा यो परिवर्तन बिहीबार गरिएको हो ।

Government needs to take initiative to increase market demand:  Dhakal made the request at the 67th Annual General Meeting of Morang Chamber of Commerce and Industry 

President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Chandra Prasad Dhakal, has mentioned that although the external sector of the country's economy is balanced, the economy has not been able to run due to low demand in the market. He said the government needs to take more initiatives to increase market demand.

President Dhakal said so while addressing the 67th Annual General Meeting of Morang Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Thursday.

He also pointed out to the need to amend the laws that the government has said it will amend before the investment summit. He stated that if the amendments are not done on time it will send a negative message to potential investors. Dhakal informed that on the suggestion of FNCCI, 12 laws and regulations have been proposed to be amended. After the amendment, it will address some complicated issues, he added.

Dhakal also mentioned that the subsidised loan facility that was being provided to businesses has been stopped and requested the government to restart the subsidised loan facility. Due to the halt in the facility it has affected entrepreneurship, he added.

He said that when domestic demand is low, the demand should be increased by exporting and attracting more tourists but the subsidy being given to exports has been stopped. In this way, there is no export incentive at the moment, he said. He urged the government to increase capital expenditure and also pay the remaining dues of contractors. Dhakal further urged the government to take steps to increase the morale of business persons. 

Meanwhile, President Dhakal congratulated Morang Chamber of Commerce and Industry for its contribution to the chamber movement and in the economic development of the country.  He mentioned that the Morang Chamber of Commerce and Industry has played a decisive role in promoting entrepreneurship in the region, supporting small and medium industries and enhancing the competitiveness of businesses.

Speaking on the occasion, Naveen Rijal, President of Morang Chamber of Commerce and Industry, thanked Dhakal and the FNCCI for its role in helping reduce the credit interest rate. However, since there is still low market demand businesses have been facing some problems. He was positive that the market will improve soon and the economy will be back on track. 

It has to be noted that the Morang Chamber of Commerce and Industry was previously called Morang Merchants' Association. This change in the name of the organisation was done on Thursday.

The chief guest of the program was Shekhar Koirala, who is a central working committee member of Nepali Congress and a member of the House of Representatives.
